Listed as one of the world’s best ciders. We take an apple-centered approach to cider making. The aim of our technique is to bring out the best of each year’s harvest. Utilizing both tradition and the cutting edge, Castle Hill Cider strives to bring you the highest quality and most enjoyable ciders. From fermenting the Levity in buried kvevri, the world’s oldest known fermentation vessels, to arresting fermentation of the Serendipity with cross flow filtration; from working with growers of varieties truly suited to cider, to renovating an 80 year old orchard, we strive to bring you the best cider to share with meals, friends, and relaxing moments. In 1764, Castle Hill opened its doors, hosting over the years an array of creative minds, from dignitaries and politicians to explorers and novelists. Today, its creative legacy continues with artisan cider makers handcrafting cider on the property. Castle Hill’s doors are now open to anyone wishing to experience its natural beauty, deep history, and the cider that proudly bears its name.
We’ve Got Good Taste. And so do you. Which is why you’ll love our Tasting Room, where you can sample an assortment of our unique ciders. Enjoy a glass (or two) on the octagonal porch. Dine on local cheeses and baguettes to bring out the true flavors. And grab a few bottles for home after enjoying the views, both inside and out.

Join The Club. Can’t get enough of our cider? Join our Castle Hill Cider Club, and enjoy a steady flow of our delicious ciders right to your door. Plus, you’ll receive 2 free tastings each visit, a 20% discount on cider and merchandise, and invitations to exclusive member events and offers. Once every 3 months, member receive 3 bottles of CHC selected cider, which will be charged to their credit card at a 20% discount. Cider "pick-up" parties will be hosted every month! We currently offer the Cider Club to AK, CA, DC, MI, MN, NC, OR & VA.
