The Barn

Our majestic Barn is your blank canvas featuring 11,000 square feet of the ground floor space, 20’ ceilings and a built-in stage. A floor-to-ceiling wall of windows runs along the east side of the building, opening onto the Terrace to create an indoor – outdoor feel throughout the duration of your event. Magnificent views of the terraced lawn and lake in the distance add to the ambiance. The Barn is temperature controlled, and available to book year-round.

The Linden Grove

Say “I do” amongst centuries old trees in the Linden Grove. Planted in an oval over 200 years ago, the initial intent of the area was to host horse races. Today, European Lindens create a magical canopy perfect for wedding ceremonies, featuring four trees in the center which form a natural arbor. Couples choose the Linden Grove as a ceremony location for these reasons as well as the bountiful shade it provides - even on the hottest of Virginia summer days.

The Terrace

Overlooking the lawn and lake, our 2,500 square foot Bluestone Terrace is the perfect venue for Cocktail Hour through the duration of your event. Guests can easily mingle back and forth between the Terrace and Barn, optimizing reception flow and providing a relaxing retreat once the party gets going.

The Loft

Floating above the center of the Barn, our 3,000 square foot Loft offers a breathtaking indoor event space. East and West facing Barn doors may be opened to showcase the scenic views and bathe the space in natural light. Primarily utilized as an indoor Ceremony venue, the Loft is temperature-controlled, features bistro lights, and a single-use restroom. For those who are planning for an outdoor ceremony, the Loft serves as a lovely back-up location in the event of inclement weather.

Cedar Pergola + Bar

This space features an Outdoor Bar and Pergola constructed of Cedar from our property with a copper bar top. Iron cast tables with market umbrellas allow for guest seating and mingling. For larger parties, use of the Cedar Pergola and Bar allows for maximum flow to and from the Terrace and back lawn. Guests will enjoy taking in the sweeping views and watching the sunset as they move between these versatile outdoor spaces.

Please note: use of the bar is available for an additional fee.

Private Suite with Balcony

Luxury and convenience create the perfect getting-ready setting. Plenty of soft seating, make-up mirrors, and a private bathroom make this space a lovely retreat to return to throughout the event. From the ambiance of the wood burning fireplace during the colder months to special moments with the wedding party on the balcony during the warmer months – the private suite is a favorite space among Castle Hill couples.

Exciting upgrades to the Private Suite with Balcony taking place January - March, 2025. Stay tuned for the grand reveal!

Private Suite

This cozy space features soft seating, refrigerator, bar cart, garment hanging rack and television. Featuring its own private entrance on the south of the Barn, the stairs provide easy access to the Terrace, Linden Grove, and Barn.
