Three Castle Hill Ciders Earn Finalist Status in 2023 Good Food Awards
Castle Hill Cider is proud to announce finalist status for three of their ciders in the 2023 Good Food Awards. Dry Hopped, Silver Bough, and Sunday Muse are three of a total of 38 ciders earning finalist status from entrants across the country.
In a competitive field of more than 1,750 entries, 513 products created by 359 finalists were identified by category experts and consumer tasters alike as exceptionally delicious, while also meeting the rigorous sustainability criteria necessary to be considered a Finalist. Hailing from 42 states, these companies are leading their industries and communities towards a tastier and more responsible future.

Food Bank Reach Giving Tuesday Goals
Gifts Combine to Provide 120,000 Meals to Our Neighbors in Need. The Blue Ridge Food Bank received a contribution of $30,000 on Giving Tuesday in which Castle Hill Cider and Kroger played leading roles. A gift of $15,000 was given anonymously in the name of Castle Hill Cider, which Kroger matched dollar-for-dollar as part of their “Zero Hunger | Zero Waste” initiative.

The editors of Virginia Living magazine received more than 200 entries from makers across the state for this year’s Made in Virginia contest, the most in the program’s nine-year history. After researching, reviewing, tasting, and testing all of them, the staff selected a record 38 winners to feature in the magazine’s November/December issue.
